Veronica C. Gonzales
Juniper Family LawVeronica Gonzales is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) who is passionate about advocating for and promoting the LLP profession while practicing Family Law at Juniper Family Law alongside attorney Louisa Schlieben in Old Town Arvada. Veronica earned her Associate’s degree and Paralegal certificate from the Community College of Denver in 2002, followed by a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Law Studies minor from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2007. Veronica has over 27 years’ experience in the legal field. Veronica took the LLP bar exam in April 2024, and was sworn in by the Colorado Supreme Court in June 2024, becoming one of Colorado’s first LLPs licensed to practice Family Law. Veronica is deeply committed to not only practicing Family Law but also advancing the LLP profession as a whole. She is a leader within the community, actively involved in the Colorado bar association, a member of the Denver Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association, and active in the Family Law/LLP community. Veronica also volunteers with Metro Volunteer Lawyers to help expand access to justice. Veronica regularly presents at conferences and panels, educating others about the growing role of LLPs, and is currently preparing additional presentations. Veronica is especially excited to mentor and inspire future LLPs, including through presentations to college students interested in this emerging career path. Her efforts reflect her unwavering dedication to growing the LLP profession and ensuring its success.
