Norman F. Kron Jr

Norman F. “Rick” Kron is a director of the law firm of Spencer Fane, LLP, Denver office. He holds a Bachelor of Urban Planning and a B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois-Urbana (1975), an M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1977), and a J.D. from the University of Colorado-Boulder (1987). Mr. Kron worked for several years in community energy research at Argonne National Laboratory prior to, and during the early part of, law school. At Spencer Fane and its predecessors, his practice has concentrated almost exclusively on special districts, business improvement districts, intergovernmental authorities, and the thrill of
Colorado election law. He serves on the boards of the Louisville Downtown Business Association and Downtown Colorado, Inc. He is a member of the American Planning Association.
