Member of the Supreme Court Criminal Rules Committee, NITA faculty and Co-Dean of the Advanced New Judge Training. Formally practiced in the Colorado State Public Defenders Office from 1987-2005, serving as the State Training Director from 1994-2003, handling all levels and types of cases including death penalty litigation. Practiced in the Federal Public Defenders Office from 2005-2008.
