Niki E. Heller
10th Circuit Court of Appeals
Niki Heller, Esq., was hired as the Chief Staff Counsel at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2001 to run the Office of Staff Counsel. Before that, she had been a Staff Attorney with that office, an associate attorney at a Cheyenne law firm, and served as law clerk to Tenth Circuit Judge James E. Barrett. Niki is originally from Cheyenne and graduated from the University of Wyoming law school. She's lived in Denver since 1991, when she came to work for the court. The Office of Staff Counsel employs Staff Attorneys who work closely with the judges of the Tenth Circuit on a certain category of cases.
