Scott Baroway, Esq., is a graduate of University of Puget Sound School of Law, graduating in 1987 Cum Laude.  He immediately entered private practice in Colorado with the unintended emphasis on moderate income representation. Since beginning practice he has served as Alternate Defense Counsel in numerous jurisdictions, served on the Federal Criminal Justice Act Panel, and has been a Colorado Super Lawyer for three consecutive years.   He has also served as a municipal court judge in numerous jurisdictions since 2002 and as a member of the Colorado Municipal Judges Board of Directors.  He currently serves on the 1st Judicial Access to Justice Committee, is a volunteer mediator for Jefferson County Mediation Services, is a contract mediator with the Colorado Office of Dispute Resolution, and serves on the CBA Modest Means Task Force.  As a member of the Task Force, he shared numerous experiences of his 26+ years in private practice, success and failures while collaborating with other members of the CBA to develop a toolkit that will allow attorneys to the quickly enter the successful moderate income practice of law while hopefully avoiding many of potholes that task force members experienced during their own journeys private practice.
