Alyssa K Sandrowitz, Esq., currently serves as Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Woodward, Inc., a position held since January 2023. Prior to this, Alyssa held the role of Director - IP Counsel at Gates Corporation from November 2020 to December 2022 and was a Partner specializing in Intellectual Property and Technology at Lewis Brisbois from June 2017 to November 2020. Alyssa has also been involved with professional organizations, including serving as Co-chair of the Mentoring Committee for the Rocky Mountain IP Inn of Court and as a member of the Post Grant Committee for the Intellectual Property Owners Association. With a legal career beginning as an Associate at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, Alyssa has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting intellectual property cases and has contributed to various legal research initiatives. Alyssa holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic and Materials Engineering from Rutgers University.
