Nicole Creola (Cree) Kelly, Esq., is currently the Chief of the SEC’s Office of the Whistleblower. She has served in multiple roles in her over two decades at the Commission including as senior counsel in the Division of Enforcement where she was an original member of the Division’s Complex Financial Instruments Unit. She also served as Counsel to former Chair Mary Jo White where she advised the Chair on Enforcement charging, and whistleblower award recommendations. Most recently Cree served as Senior Special Counsel in the Office of General Counsel where she advised the Commission and staff on whistleblower-related matters. Cree has a B.A. from Amherst College and J.D. from Tulane University.
