Fred J. Diss, Esq., is a shareholder in the law firm of Robinson, Diss and Clowdus, P.C. in Denver, Colorado.  He is listed in Best Lawyers in America in the specialties of taxation, employee benefits and healthcare.  He earned his J.D. at the University of Denver and his B.S. in accounting and business administration at Regis College. Prior to joining Robinson, Diss and Clowdus, P.C. in 1986, he practiced as a CPA.  Mr. Diss has served on the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors and as chair of its Taxation Law Section.  His articles have appeared in The Colorado Lawyer, The Annual Survey of Colorado Law, BNA Tax Management and BNA Compensation Planning Journal. He has written and lectured on taxation of professional corporations, closely held businesses and pass thru entities, qualified plan design and administration, fringe benefits and executive compensation, S corporation ESOPs, estate planning for IRAs and professionals, and taxation of physician-hospital joint ventures.
