Dianne Hazel, Esq., is the First Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust Unit at the Colorado Attorney General's Office. Diane graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and joined the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, DC where she investigated and prosecuted alleged anticompetitive conduct in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. In 2013, Diane was awarded a Fulbright grant in competition law and moved to Namibia to work with the Namibian Competition Commission and the Law Reform and Development Commission. After returning from Namibia, Diane worked in private practice in Washington, DC and Denver and was a Litigation Partner at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie in Denver before joining the Attorney General's Office in 2019.
