Raina Bayas, Esq., is a seasoned litigator and owner of The Bayas Firm, PLLC, a consumer protection firm focused on Lemon Law, Auto Fraud, and Auto Financing Fraud. She started her litigation career at a nationwide law firm in California defending airbag and seatbelt manufacturers in product liability cases. Finding her life lacked purpose and becoming completely depressed, she set off on a year's long existential search that led her to Denver, Colorado. She begrudgingly took the Colorado bar after volunteering for an organization that spoke to her soul, Rocky Mountain Victim's Law Center. She became a Project Director and discovered that her entire world lit up when she was fighting for justice. In 2013, she became a Deputy District Attorney in Boulder, County and truly loved her job and her colleagues. It was only when the balance between life and work (and HWY 36 traffic) stressed her mental sanity that she left the DA's office. In early 2020, she started a real estate investment company that is still going strong. In late 2021, she melded her passion for fighting for justice (this time for consumers) and her interest in entrepreneurship to create The Bayas Firm, PLLC. The Bayas Firm, PLLC is the only woman owned Lemon Law and Auto Fraud firm in Colorado (as far as Raina can tell). She's active in the Consumer Protection Committee at the CBA, a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and recently asked to be part of the National Association of Consumer Advocates Auto-Practicum Planning Committee. Every family dinner, regardless of who is at the table, her family plays the “Best” game where everyone states what is the best thing that happened to them that day. Most of the time her answer is, “being right here eating dinner with you all.” And she means it.
