Kathleen A. Negri

Since 1992, Kathleen A. Negri has been an elder law attorney, helping families plan for the legal and financial issues raised by long-term illness and death. From 1997 to 2004, she also was a caregiver for her mother, Patricia, on her journey through Alzheimer’s. Ms. Negri is a licensed Colorado attorney, speaker, and author. She has served on several bar association, educational, and nonprofit boards and committees. In 2000, Ms. Negri was elected by her peers to be a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Association Foundation, in recognition of her outstanding dedication to the welfare of the legal community and the advancement of the legal profession. She received her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Colorado, both with honors. Ms. Negri is a frequent speaker on the issues of elder law and caregiving and is the author of Mom, Are You There? Finding a Path to Peace through Alzheimer’s.
