Merrie Margolin Kippur, Esq., has been a licensed attorney for over 23 years concentrating primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, business formations, banking and estate planning. In the past, she worked as an associate in a small firm and the Denver office of a national firm, as Senior Vice President and in-house counsel for a community bank and a solo practitioner. She has been a career law clerk for Judge Elizabeth E. Brown for the past 8 years and was a part of the working group for the chapter 13 and chapter 11 portions of the new local bankruptcy rules and forms that went into effect 12/1/09. Merrie is a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations and has been on the CBA Ethics Committee for 5 years. She received her BA from The Colorado College in 1983 and her JD from the University of Colorado in 1986.
