Kevin S. Hannon received his law degree from Georgetown University in 1986. He founded The Hannon Law Firm, LLC in 1988 and is admitted to Colorado; Missouri; Washington, D.C.; Wisconsin; Wyoming; federal courts; and the United States Supreme Court. The Hannon Law Firm has been recognized in The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, Top Lawyers in Colorado, U.S. News Best Law Firms, American Trial Lawyers Association Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and Best Lawyers. The firm has a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating.
 
Mr. Hannon’s practice emphasizes environmental law, toxic tort, consumer law, personal injury, and class action cases. Two of Mr. Hannon’s environmental trials, Orjias v. Louisiana-Pacific and Escamilla v. Asarco, resulted in the largest jury awards in environmental cases in Colorado at the time of verdict. In 1993, Mr. Hannon received the Trial Lawyer of the Year award from Trial Lawyers for Public Justice for his work in Escamilla. In 1996, Mr. Hannon received the Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer award from the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. In 2014, Mr. Hannon was awarded Case of the Year by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association for his work against Doe Run Smelter in Missouri, a class action regarding lead contamination that settled after 18 years of litigation. Mr. Hannon was instrumental in changing Colorado law on continuing trespass and changing Missouri law to certify medical monitoring in class action cases. His practice now includes class action cases in several states. He is on the court-appointed steering committee of the multi-district case In Re: Daily Fantasy Sports Litigation, Case No. 1:16-md-02677-GAO, United States District Court, District of Massachusetts.
