City of Boulder Community Mediation and Resolution CenterCarin Armstrong is the City of Boulder’s Community Mediation and Resolution Center Manager which provides community mediation, restorative justice, facilitation and eviction prevention services. CMRC has over 50 volunteer mediators and restorative justice facilitators delivering conflict resolution services throughout the Boulder community. She seeks ways to diversify the field of mediation and helped to develop a mediation training scholarship program to attract new and diverse mediators. Carin holds a master's in social work. She has mediated and facilitated over 400 cases involving students, landlords and tenants, neighbors, parents and teens, and community matters since 1998 and has experienced a high success rate in reaching resolution over the years. She lives in Boulder and has two children who have been invaluable in keeping her mediation skills sharp.
