Eliz Espinoza, Esq., is an attorney whose practice is dedicated to guiding clients through complex and often high-stakes family law matters. She represents individuals in high-asset divorce cases and high-conflict child custody disputes, as well as matters involving marital agreements, adoptions, and jurisdictional issues within family law. Drawing on more than 16 years of experience in the legal field, Eliz approaches each case with a combination of strategic analysis and compassionate advocacy. Before becoming an attorney, she held multiple roles in litigation support, including serving as a senior litigation paralegal in family law and a federal judicial lead legal assistant. This breadth of experience informs her practical, solutions-driven approach to family law. Eliz earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she twice received the Student Lawyer of the Year award. In addition to her work in private practice, Eliz is committed to giving back to her community. She serves as the president of Law School…Yes We Can!, leading the nonprofit in fulfilling its mission to support first-generation and underrepresented students in pursuing law school and legal careers, while advancing diversity within Colorado’s legal profession. She also serves as co-chair of the Colorado Pledge to Diversity Program.
