Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd.Kyle Melchior, LLP (he/him), is an LLP at Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd. With a degree in legal studies and advanced certifications in domestic relations and was sworn in as part of the inaugural class of LLPs licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court in 2024. His career began as a lead litigation paralegal in domestic relations, where he handled a variety of litigation matters, including modifications, common law allegations, enforcement proceedings, LGBTQIA+ driven cases, and other related domestic issues. Driven by his passion for promoting access to justice and advancing LGBTQIA+ equality and education, Kyle served as the RMPA Managing Director of Policy and National Affairs for Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, New Mexico, and Wyoming. In this role, he introduced EDI policy and requirements on the national stage for credentialed legal professionals through the NFPA, making significant strides in DE&IA policy reform and advocacy. In 2022, Kyle had the privilege of publishing public comments, appearing on the news, and testifying before the Colorado Supreme Court to endorse his profession. These opportunities allowed him to contribute at a pivotal moment in the fight for access to justice and advocate for the integration and endorsement of LLPs in the modern legal world. Kyle now sits on a Colorado Supreme Court committee that oversees LLP education and outreach to the public. In this position, he serves as a liaison between LLPs, the legal system, and the greater public, working to enhance the understanding and integration of LLPs within the legal profession.
