Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd.Kyle Melchior, AASP, LLP, (he/him) is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP), of Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd., He received an Honors Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Arapahoe Community College, obtained higher education certifications in domestic relations law and legal ethics from Community College of Denver, and received his limited license to practice domestic relations from the Colorado Supreme Court in 2024. Previous to his limited license, Kyle worked as a specialized litigation paralegal in domestic relations and has extensive experience in litigation matters including, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status matters, Child Family Investigations, domestic violence matters, and domestic relations matters. Since joining Gendelman Klimas Edwards, Ltd., Kyle's legal career has always been dedicated to access to justice and LGBTQIA+ equality and education through policy in the legal profession. Over the previous years, Kyle served as the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association (RMPA) Managing Director of Policy and National Affairs for the States of Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, New Mexico, and Wyoming where he introduced EDI policy and requirements on the national stage for credentialed legal paraprofessionals through the National Federation of Paralegals (NFPA). Now, Kyle is a part founder and co-chair to the RMPA LLP Section and spends his time advocating for the new license. He has since testified before the Colorado Supreme Court, published public comments, and appeared on the news to endorse the LLP profession. He is excited help build the partnership between DR Attorneys and LLPs, assist LLPs in their career, and to further the fight for access to justice. As a result of his advocacy, Kyle is able to provide supportive, knowledgeable, innovative, and direct representation to people navigating life changing decisions, who meet an LLPs criterion.
