Chris Powell has 28 years in the insurance industry serving in sales, client advisory and senior leadership roles. As Senior Vice President, Chris provides leadership to position Lockton Affinity at the forefront of the program industry and delivers strategy to advance the Lawyers Professional Liability and Cyber Liability Practices. Prior to joining Lockton Affinity in 2017, He served as Vice President and General Manager for an MGA who specialized in Professional Liability for Lawyers, Architects and Engineers, and Cyber Liability. He began his career at Universal Underwriters Group/Zurich Direct Markets in multiple roles, Field Underwriter, Account Executive, Regional Sales Manager, and Vice President. Chris has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Kristi for 28 years and has 3 children, Jack, Anna Kate and Collin. Chris is on the executive board of the Serra Club KC.
