Rebeca . Medrano

Rebeca Medrano is a Salvadoran that has spent most of her life in rural North Carolina. She has worked with survivors of child maltreatment, sexual abuse, and human trafficking since 2012 through her volunteer work and career, and her love for her community led her to focus her career in serving Latine, migrant, and Spanish speaking communities. Outside of her career, Rebeca has fiercely advocated for migrant rights through her affiliations with grassroots organizations and has helped in the startup of many local Latine and migrant advocacy groups. Her favorite forms of self-care include dancing, cooking, and spending time in the mountains.
