Charles R. Greenacre

Honorable Charles R. Greenacre was appointed District Court Judge in the Seventh Judicial District in May of 2000. Prior to that appointment, he was the County Court Judge in Montrose, Colorado. His case assignments include the criminal, civil, probate, and neglect and dependency dockets in Delta, Colorado. He also presides over the Delta Family Treatment Court. Judge Greenacre received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1972, and he practiced law in the Seventh Judicial District from 1974 until 1994 with Colorado Rural Legal Services, as a Deputy Colorado Public Defender, and in private practice.
