Chris Wolpert, Esq., is the Clerk of Court for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. His office manages the court's cases, dockets, records, calendar, and courtroom proceedings; serves as the case-related public interface for the court and its judges; facilitates the court's attorney admissions and discipline processes; oversees electronic filing; and enforces compliance with federal and local rules. Prior to his tenure as Clerk, Chris was the Tenth Circuit's Chief Deputy Clerk. From 2011 to 2014, Chris was the Chief Deputy of Operations for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California where he was responsible for all aspects of court operations in four offices serving over thirty district and magistrate judges handling one of the heaviest weighted caseloads in the country. Prior to his work in court administration, Chris practiced law in New Mexico. He serves on national councils, committees and working groups focused on professional education and development, leveraging technology in the courts, and advising the Judicial Conference and Administrative Office on issues related to court administration and operations. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Chris earned his JD, MSW, and BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
