Jeff C. Koy
Koy|Dingboom|Oates, LLCJeff Koy graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1998 after receiving his bachelor's degree in environmental management from the University of Rhode Island. He joined the Children's Law Center one year later and was soon named Director of Training and Litigation. In this position, Mr. Koy supervises the Prevention Partnership program, which assists family members who are raising their young relatives, and the Domestic Violence Program, through which volunteer attorneys provide courts with valuable insight regarding children who are victims or witnesses in domestic violence matters. In 2009, Mr. Koy received the Excellence in Practice Award for Juvenile Law. Mr. Koy is part of the Best Practices Team in Jefferson County and, in 2012, was appointed to the Family Integrated Treatment (FIT) court steering committee in Jefferson County. Mr. Koy also oversees all training and education programs and handles the most crucial appellate briefs, in addition to managing a full case load representing children in dependency and neglect cases. Outside of the office, Mr. Koy is an Optimist Club Child Advocate.
