Carly Howenstein, MPA (she/her) is the Pro Bono Coordinator for RMIAN's work with people in immigration detention in Aurora. Carly has worked at RMIAN for just over five years. She graduated in 2019 from the University of Denver where she majored in International Studies and Spanish and minored in Sociology. In 2024, Carly graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with her master's in public administration. Prior to starting at RMIAN Carly interned with a non-profit called Casa de Paz where she was able to work with detained and recently released immigrants.
