Dominic Mauriello, AICP, was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and went to high school at the American School in Switzerland. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Florida. He has eleven years of public sector city planning experience, having served as a planner with the City of Melbourne, Florida and the Town of Vail, Colorado. He has worked in the private sector since 1999 primarily as a land use entitlement expert in Colorado with a focus on redevelopment in resort environments. Dominic has also consulted on a variety of land use related policies for municipal governments. He has performed expert witness work in two cases heard in La Plata County and Eagle County District Courts. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 1995. Dominic is the Principal of Mauriello Planning Group, LLC based in Eagle, Colorado.
