Jimena Mohedas, Esq., attended the University of Colorado - Boulder, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Minor in Italian Language studies. Jimena then attended Boston University School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2020. Jimena received the Humanity in the Law prize for her extensive work with marginalized and underrepresented communities. Jimena began her career as a Public Defender with the Office of the State Public Defender in Arapahoe County. As a Public Defender Jimena learned the importance of empathy when representing clients. Jimena then transitions to private defense work and now focuses her practice on family law at Jones Law Firm PC. Her family law practice includes dissolution, allocation of parental responsibilities, and post-decree modifications.
