Dr. Michael Sartori is a Partner at Baker Botts L.L.P. in the firm's Intellectual Property Department. As a registered patent attorney, his practice focuses on patent prosecution, patent portfolio counseling, and patent litigation. Prior to joining Baker Botts, Dr. Sartori served for over a decade as Chair of the Patent Prosecution and Counseling Group at another AMLaw 100 firm. He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his Ph.D., M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. His experience as a researcher, inventor, and Patent Examiner bring a unique perspective.
