Colleen T. Scarola, Esq., is the founder of the law firm of Scarola Law, LLC. She received a B.A. in political science and english from Illinois State University in 2003. She was awarded a J.D. from UIC Law (formerly The John Marshall Law School) in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Scarola's practice emphasizes estate planning and probate. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Douglas County Bar Association, the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, the Solo/Small Firm Section of the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Women Owned Law Firms (W.O.L.F.), and Denver MAMA. In addition to practicing law, she is on the faculty at University of Denver Sturm College of Law as a Visiting Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Legal Externship Office. In that role, Ms. Scarola teaches and mentors law students as they develop their professional identity and career paths. She has also presented on the topic of estate planning for various communities.
