Torrington and Gokli, LLCThe Honorable Judge Rayna Gokli was appointed as a District Court Judge in the 17th Judicial District in 2019 and retired in 2025. During her six years on the bench, Judge Gokli presided over domestic relations, civil, and criminal dockets. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Gokli was a Senior Lead Deputy District Attorney in the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s office. She is a founding member of Torrington and Gokli, LLC, a dispute resolution firm which she started with Judge Jennifer Torrington (ret). Torrington and Gokli, LLC offers alternate dispute resolution services, including mediation, arbitration, and private judging. Judge Gokli has presented on issues related to domestic law and practice, including at the Family Law Institute, Colorado Bar Association Ethics Update, Colorado Judicial Conference, New Judge Orientation, LLP Practicum, and the Domestic Relations and Probate Institute. Judge Gokli has also completed the 40-Hour Mediation Course through the Colorado Bar Association. Judge Gokli has had a career dedicated to public service. Judge Gokli is currently a member of the Colorado Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (“LLP”) Oversight Committee. She has served as secretary of the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado and as Board Chair for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness. While working at the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s office, Judge Gokli served as chair of the Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee and was the creator of a mentorship program for new prosecutors. Judge Gokli is also passionate about mentoring law students as they enter the legal profession. She has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In 2014, Judge Gokli was honored to receive the Governor Ralph Carr Award from the Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Each year, this award is given to an attorney who has exhibited a commitment to public service through public sector work or a substantial commitment to community service.
