Rayna K. Gokli
17th Judicial District
The Honorable Rayna K. Gokli was appointed as a District Court Judge in the 17th Judicial District in May 2019. She has presided over a Domestic Relations docket since January 2023. Prior to being appointed to the bench, Judge Gokli was a Senior Lead Deputy District Attorney in the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office. She also previously worked as a prosecutor in the 12th Judicial District Attorney's Office. Judge Gokli is currently a member of the Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (LLP) Committee. She has served as the Board Chair for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness. While working at the 17th Judicial District Attorney's office, she served as chair of the Diversity and Inclusiveness Committee and was the creator of a mentorship program for new prosecutors. Judge Gokli earned her B.S. in broadcast journalism and J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
