David R. Claiborne, is the Deputy Director of Line Operations at the Colorado Disability Determination Services, a division of the Colorado Department of Human Services. He has more than 15 years of experience adjudicating disability claims using Social Security's rules and regulations, and is a three-time recipient of the Commissioner's Citation, the Social Security Administration's highest award. He has also received the National Association of Disability Examiners Award for his work on innovative business practices. In his free time, David is the principal trumpet of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra, and he looks forward to having his first baby in February.
