Robert E. Singleton, Esq., is co-chair and director of eDiscovery and data management for Squire Patton Boggs and a member of the Squire Patton Boggs eDiscovery & Data Management Team.  As such, he concentrates his practice on electronic discovery and related issues. Robert acts as the firm's resource for lawyers and clients on matters involving the management of electronically stored information and electronic discovery. He counsels a variety of clients on record retention programs, data destruction protocols, and litigation hold policies to reduce risks associated with electronic discovery and privacy. He also works with lawyers and clients to manage the collection, review and ultimate production of electronic document collections in litigation, arbitration and internal investigations in the most cost-efficient and timely manner possible. Robert lectures across the country on all issues and ethical considerations related to information governance and electronic discovery. He is chair of the ASU-Arkfeld eDiscovery and Digital Evidence Conference and a member of Working Group 1 of the Sedona Conference on Best Practices for Electronic Discovery and Records Management. Robert maintains a litigation practice focused on commercial litigation and toxic torts. He has represented a variety of clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in federal and state courts, in arbitrations and in mediations throughout the United States. Through these representations Robert has gained experience in disputes relating to toxic torts, construction disputes, contractor fraud, intellectual property, product liability, bankruptcy, employment agreements and breach of contract. Additionally, Robert has vast experience working with industrial hygiene professionals and topics relating to industrial hygiene.
