JJ Jordan is the Community Chair for Dementia Friendly Denver, an affiliate of Dementia Friendly America, a not for profit initiative announced at the White House Conference on Aging in 2015. JJ has been a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association for the past 15 years. She recently served a six-year term on their Board of Directors and also serves as their Public Policy Ambassador to Capitol Hill. JJ cared for three parents with Alzheimer's over a 16-year period. JJ teaches, speaks and consults on dementia topics as the CEO of the Jordan Consulting Group and she is also an associate with a business psychology firm where she provides dementia coaching for client employees. Prior to her work in the field of dementia, JJ was in senior corporate management for over 20 years with IBM and McKinsey & Company.
