Steven Pozefsky, Esq., is an Associate General Counsel at Children's Hospital Colorado where he provides advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters affecting the hospital and its personnel. Before that, Steve was Senior Counsel at Johns Hopkins where he served as the sole on-site legal counsel to the Johns Hopkins All Children's Health System. Prior to his in-house hospital roles, Steve was a Shareholder in the Healthcare and Litigation Groups of an Am Law 100 Law Firm in Washington, D.C., where, among other representative matters, he served as primary outside counsel to a D.C. general medical and surgical hospital. Steve also teaches Health Law as an Adjunct Professor at the Sturm College of Law. The survey course introduces law students to the legal and policy considerations shaping the relationship between providers (physicians and hospitals), payers (public and private), and patients, as well as current topics in health law. Currently, Steve serves as an At-Large Member of the Colorado Bar Association's Health Law Section's Executive Council.
