Rowena Cipriano-Reyes, CPA, is an Audit Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Denver's practice, with over 25 years of experience in directing a wide variety of audit engagements of public and private companies in the energy and extraction industry. Rowena leads PwC's oil and gas assurance practice in the Southwest market including Denver, Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. She has been responsible for serving clients in all sectors of the energy spectrum including oil and gas, dealing with issues in upstream, midstream and downstream businesses and master limited partnerships. In addition, Rowena has significant SEC reporting experience including Initial Public Offerings, equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures. Recognized for her expertise in the energy sector, Rowena served as a contributing author for the Sixth and Seventh Edition of Petroleum Accounting: Principles, Procedures and Issues. She is also currently working as a contributing author for the Eight Edition of Petroleum Accounting. Rowena has been recognized by the Denver Business Journal her contributions to the oil and gas industry by receiving the Who's Who in Energy Awards in the last 6 years and Top Women in Energy Awards for 4 years. Rowena also serves as the part of the Extended Leadership Team for PwC in the US. Rowena previously served as an audit partner in Houston Texas, solely focused in serving clients in the energy and extraction industry. Rowena was admitted to the partnership in 2006. She transferred to Denver, Colorado in 2010. Rowena also previously served as the Leadership Development Experience leader for PwC in the US.
