Thomas G. Castellano MD

Centura Health
Thomas G. Castellano, MD, spent most of his career in the emergency room, having trained in trauma centers. About a decade ago he had an epiphany and made a change in his life, to slow things down. Now he's a geriatrician who “gets to give hugs for a living” in nursing homes and hospice. He counsels lawyers through liability cases. Seniors have an incredible amount of wisdom to impart, interesting stories to tell, and love to give freely. Castellano describes himself as the luckiest man in the world with a tolerant wife and two nearly-perfect children. Born and raised in Denver, he enjoys simple trips with family. Dr. C earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree at Stanford University, and his MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and was Resident Teacher of the Year. He has practiced medicine since 1992, still trying to get it right.
