Mike Grande, has over 30 years of experience in business ownership, business valuations, mergers/acquisitions & divestitures and management consulting. Since 2014, Mike has been a Director and the lead dealmaker for SDR Ventures, one of the oldest and most respected investment banks in the region. Prior to working for SDR Ventures, Mike was the Owner and Managing Director of Sierra Company, LLC, a Denver-based M&A and business brokerage firm. Mike has closed over 75 transactions, ranging in enterprise value from over $1 million to well over $30 million, in many different industries and with a combination of individual, strategic and financials buyers. Prior to the M&A industry, Mike independently purchased, operated and sold a number of businesses including an $8 million marine dealership, a recreational vehicle storage and service business and a 5-acre commercial real estate development. Mike began his career as a management consultant and worked for eight years as the Manager in Charge of Consulting for McGladrey & Pullen, at the time a top ten national accounting firm. Mike has a Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative) License through FINRA, is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and he holds a Colorado Real Estate Broker's License. Mike has a degree in management from the University of Oregon, an MBA from the University of Denver and he studied international business at the University of London. Mike has been on the Board of Directors of several companies including non-profit organizations.
