Matt Talpis is Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Vulcan Inc. where he handles agreements, licensing, M&A, open source, joint development, patents and portfolio development, trademarks and copyrights for the various philanthropic, technical, aerospace, museum, movie production, food service and charitable efforts supported by Vulcan. Previously, Matt has supported the IP, open source, M&A, licensing and transactional needs of product and service teams for Amazon Web Services, IBM and Emerson Process Management. Prior to going in-house, Matt was an associate at BakerBotts LLP in Dallas, TX, doing open source, transactional, and patent work.
