Monisha Merchant provides government affairs, program management, executive coaching, and financial analysis services to companies and nonprofits. She has been working with Airbnb's public policy team for the past four years, working on state and local legislative efforts in over 25 states. Prior to Lotus Advisory, Monisha was U.S. Senator Michael Bennet's (D-CO) senior adviser on business and economic policy and worked with the Colorado business and patent law community to bring the Rocky Mountain Regional Patent Office to Denver. Monisha is a former University of Colorado Regent and product manager at Level 3 Communications (now CenturyLink) in Broomfield. She has worked on global teams in Japan, Germany, China, Indonesia, Brazil, Ghana, South Africa, and Nicaragua. She has an electrical engineering degree from MIT, and an MBA from Yale School of Management. A Colorado native, Monisha is a loyal Avalanche, Nuggets, Rockies, and Broncos fan.
