Jim Long, Esq., is a former Senior Attorney with the Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education, in the Denver Regional Office. Jim is a Senior Consultant with Employment Matters LLC Flynn Investigation Group (EMFIG). He is currently a member of the NAADAC Board of Directors and is the principal in Educational Rights Consulting, providing a broad range of consulting services to school districts, colleges and universities, and parents on a spectrum of civil rights issues. Jim is requested nationally as a speaker on topics related to Title IX and sexual misconduct and disability rights in K-12 and post-secondary education. He conducts Title IX and other civil rights complaint investigations for schools and conducts expert reviews for litigation. Jim and his wife Nancy, have four children and three wonderful grandchildren.
