Jonathan Feldman is a consulting actuary and founding member of the Washington office of Horizon Actuarial. Jonathan has experience in the strategic design and funding of defined benefit plans and in designing actuarial systems. Jonathan has extensive experience working on endangered and critical status plans. In addition to his current work on multiemployer pension, retiree medical, and staff plans, Jonathan has worked with single-employer corporate, association, and public defined benefit plans. Jonathan began his actuarial career in 1994. Jonathan holds a BA degree in mathematics from Brandeis University where he graduated with honors and a MA degree in economics from the University of Maryland. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA.
