Mara Aruguete, Ph.D., earned her Ph.D. at the University of California and has served as a Professor of Psychology at Lincoln University of Missouri for 23 years. In addition to teaching, she has authored two books and over 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals (including Sex Roles, Journal of Adolescent Health, Journal of Educational Research, and Social Science and Medicine). She is a successful grant writer, having received federal, state, and local funding for over 20 grant projects. She serves as an Associate Editor for the North American Journal of Psychology and Division Chair for the Missouri Academy of Science.
