Computer Forensic ServicesKyle Loven joined Computer Forensic Services (CFS) in 2017 as its National Director. Kyle is a 22+ year veteran of the FBI who conducted numerous violent, cyber, and white collar crime investigations in both San Diego and Minneapolis as a Special Agent, prior to being named Chief Division Counsel of the Minneapolis Division in 2004. In his role as Chief Division Counsel, Kyle addressed all legal matters involving the FBI in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota and was responsible for ensuring all FBI operations were compliant with internal policies, the AG Guidelines, and the U.S. Constitution. He also served as the Ethics, Privacy, and Compliance Officer for the Division and handled all media inquiries on behalf of the FBI in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. He provided legal guidance and was intimately involved in all major investigations, decisions, and personnel actions involving the Minneapolis Division during this time. Additionally, he was appointed to serve as the FBI's interim Legal Attache Officer to Singapore in 2009. While serving with the FBI, Kyle was an Adjunct Instructor, instructing internationally on behalf of the FBI in Budapest, Hungary; San Salvador, El Salvador; and Astana, Kazakhstan in the areas of Public Corruption, Asset Forfeiture, & Money Laundering. He also conducted legal, compliance, and ethics training for FBI Special Agents and local law enforcement officials, and conducted presentations on behalf of the FBI to numerous civic and social organizations in his role as the Community Outreach Supervisor and Public Information Officer. Kyle currently serves as a Continuing Legal Education instructor at various state bar events and webinars and is a frequent presenter at conferences hosted by the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics. Kyle is responsible for business development and client relations at CFS. In this role, he has provided lectures on digital forensics, information security, and the “Dark Web” to a variety of groups and organizations.
