Amandeep Hayer, graduated with BA (University of Calgary), JD (University of Windsor), JD (University of Detroit Mercy) and is the principal lawyer at Hayer Law, a boutique immigration law firm in Meto Vancouver, BC. He has been practicing in exclusively in Canadian immigration and citizenship law since being called to the Alberta Bar in 2015. He was later called to the British Columbia Bar and the Colorado State Bar. Prior to starting his own firm, Amandeep Hayer was employed at Moodys Tax Law, Deloitte LLP, and Sedai Law Office. Amandeep has been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) since 2020 where he serves as an executive member of the CBA (BC) Immigration Law Section. He has appeared as an expert witness to the House of Commons Citizenship and Immigration Committee, on behalf of the CBA. Finally he recently published a book Maintaining Permanent Residence Status and Acquiring Citizenship.
