Thomas Connelly is a Vice President/ Legal at Flextronics and provides transactional support and product counsel advice for all divisions of the FIS segment (Industrial & Emerging Industries) of Flextronics. Prior to joining Flextronics, Tom held a variety of progressively responsible and supervisory roles in the legal departments of rapidly expanding technology businesses such as Excite, Inc., At Home Corporation, Sony and eBay, where he was chosen to lead the legal function as General Counsel for acquired entity Shopping.com (now eBay Advertising.) Tom has worked for Fenwick and West providing initial general counsel services and transactional support to emerging technology start up clients. Admitted in California, Minnesota and to practice before the Eighth Circuit Federal Bar, Tom is an accounting graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana. He worked as an accountant in both public and corporate practice in Indianapolis, Chicago and full time while earning his J.D. at Mitchell Hamline College of Law in St. Paul, MN. In his youth, Tom was a competitive sailor, competing in club and state amateur races in the Lightning, Snipe and J24 classes.
