Tierney Tobin Maris, Esq., is the Managing Attorney at Green & Maris, P.C. in Boulder, Colorado. At Green & Maris, P.C., Tierney represents clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Her practice primarily includes asylum, family-based immigration, and removal defense. She has been the AILA Colorado Asylum Committee co-chair since 2020. Tierney graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2018 and has been practicing immigration law exclusively since that time. At Colorado Law, Tierney was a co-founder of the Immigration Law and Policy Society. Prior to law school, Tierney received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Bates College and her M.A. in International Education Development from Columbia University Teachers College.
