Stephanie Abrutyn, Esq., is SVP, Legal and Business Affairs and General Counsel of Grid, a new digital news organization whose mission is to connect with an audience that wants a deeper, clearer understanding of the world around them, regardless of their political orientation. Stephanie is an experienced media lawyer and strategist with over 25 years of experience in a number of leading media companies, including immediately prior to joining Grid, serving as SVP and Chief Counsel, Litigation and Public Policy at WarnerMedia, where she led the team responsible for overseeing and managing litigation for all of WarnerMedia's businesses and brands including HBO, CNN, and Warner Bros., and oversaw the WarnerMedia domestic public policy group. Stephanie also teaches Media Law and is a frequent speaker and author on First Amendment and media law issues.
