Louise Gellman is an IP partner at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, and based in the CMS UK London office. She specializes in trademark law, advising in relation to the protection, exploitation and enforcement of trademark rights. Louise prosecutes UK and EU trade mark applications and using the Madrid Protocol system, and has a busy oppositions practice. She advises clients in relation to worldwide and European re-branding projects, and has considerable experience in running trade mark clearances and managing the subsequent filing programs and international portfolios. She also provides strategic advice to brand owners regarding ownership and licensing structures, as well as policing and enforcement. Louise chaired INTA's Madrid System subcommittee for four years and is now an active member of the Pro Bono committee. She is also active at and the European trade mark organisation, Marques, and its Geographical Indications team.
