David Maxted, Esq., is an experienced trial lawyer focusing on criminal defense and civil rights litigation in state and federal courts. Originally from Durango, Colorado, David is formerly a Supervising Attorney with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, where he handled primarily homicides and other serious felonies. David graduated from Amherst College and Duke Law, and lectures and conducts trainings on the craft of trial advocacy.
