Richard (Rick) Merpi, Esq., is a senior litigator at Goodspeed Merrill, who concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract, supply chain disputes, trade secrets claims, and shareholder disputes. After more than a decade of representing Fortune 500 companies, small local businesses, and closely held corporations, Rick understands the importance of producing results that protect his clients, save them money, and get them back to business. Rick received his law degree cum laude from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI, where he was a Dean's Scholar, Senior Articles Editor on Law Review, and on the Moot Court team. He received his B.F.A. in Theatre with highest honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Rick was selected as a Rising Star (2021) and a Super Lawyer (2022-2023) by Colorado Super Lawyer Magazine. Rick is an avid golfer, skier, musician, husband, and father of Lou (8), Eddie (5), and Alberta (2).
