Michael Friedman, Esq., Tax Partner, leads McMillan LLP's Tax Group. He advises clients on a diverse range of domestic and international taxation matters and has specialized expertise structuring domestic and multinational commercial acquisitions and reorganizations. Michael counsels clients on the tax elements of all major aspects of ongoing business operations, including employee compensation and stock option planning, tax reporting, transfer pricing, and voluntary disclosures. He also has broad experience resolving disputes with the Canadian revenue authorities and has appeared before both the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeals.
