Megan M. Brewer

The Honorable Megan M. Brewer is a Magistrate in the 23rd Judicial District. She currently presides over a District Court docket consisting of pre-decree domestic relations matters and IV-D child support. She is a Colorado native who received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her law degree from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She worked as a Deputy and Senior Deputy District Attorney in the 18th Judicial District, as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney, and as a Senior Assistant County Attorney with the Douglas County Attorney's Office prior to becoming a Magistrate in 2023. In her role as a Magistrate, she has presided over criminal, traffic, probate, mental health, and domestic relations matters. She enjoys sports, art, and getting outside with her husband and children.
