Gail Sharps Myers is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Snyder's-Lance, Inc., a publicly traded national snack food manufacturing company whose brands include Snyder's of Hanover^®, Lance^®, Cape Cod^® kettle cooked chips and Snack Factory^® Pretzel Crisps^®.  In addition to managing the Legal Department, Gail also has Government Relations and Compliance reporting to her. Prior to joining Snyder's-Lance in January of 2015, Gail was Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Counsel for US Foods, Inc., a $22 billion dollar privately held foodservice distribution company that has over $1 billion in publicly traded debt securities. There she had primary responsibility for all legal services, managing 14 attorneys in the corporate/finance, litigation and employment legal functional areas. Gail was also responsible for driving the enterprise-wide Compliance program.  Before joining US Foods, Gail held positions with two New York law firms, Kaye Scholer LLP and Loeb & Loeb LLP, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and filings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, private equity transactions, intellectual property transactions and general corporate matters. She represented both public and private corporate entities, providing counsel to her clients on a wide range of corporate matters.  Gail currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Blumenthal Performing Arts. Gail earned her J.D. from the Washington College of Law, American University, a Master of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Howard University.
